New Delhi, May 17, 2025– The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially released the revised results for CLAT UG 2025, following a directive from the Supreme Court of India. The results were published today, a day after the Consortium informed the apex court of its readiness to release the corrected results once the Supreme Court’s order dated May 7, 2025, was uploaded.
The revised CLAT UG 2025 results and the counselling schedule are now available on the official website of the Consortium. Candidates can view and download their updated scorecards by logging into their accounts at: https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2025/view-result.html
Postgraduate Results Still Withheld
Regarding CLAT PG 2025, the Consortium has clarified that the results are on hold due to ongoing litigation before the Delhi High Court. Candidates will have to wait for the resolution of the matter before any further announcements are made.
Legal Disputes and Court Intervention
The CLAT 2025 exam, conducted on December 1, 2024, faced significant controversy after candidates raised objections concerning allegedly incorrect questions and answers.
- In December 2024, a single judge of the Delhi High Court ruled that two answer key responses in the CLAT UG 2025 exam were incorrect and ordered the Consortium to revise the scores of the petitioners accordingly.
- The Consortium subsequently challenged this decision before a Division Bench of the High Court.
- On April 23, 2025, the Division Bench led by Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela disposed of the appeal and directed certain revisions.
- Finally, on May 7, 2025, the Supreme Court set aside the High Court’s order and issued its own directions regarding rectifications in the answer key.
Following these developments, the Consortium informed the Court yesterday of its readiness to declare the revised results, subject to the uploading of the Supreme Court’s final order — which has now been complied with.
