Job Summary
We’re seeking a Junior Legal Officer to support our legal team in ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and policies. This role involves drafting agreements, managing legal documentation, and addressing legal queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and provide inputs on various legal and regulatory matters.
- Compliance Management: Maintain and update records related to statutory and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Litigation Support: Assist in managing litigation cases, including coordinating with external counsel and preparing case files.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Organize and maintain legal documentation, including contracts, licenses, and compliance certificates.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaise with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams as required.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a legal or compliance role. Freshers with internships in corporate law or compliance are encouraged to apply.
- Skills and Competencies: Basic knowledge of corporate and commercial laws, strong legal research and analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent drafting and communication abilities, proficiency in MS Office and legal management tools.
